Privacy policy

The short version: we collect what you type into the enquiry form, we use it to arrange your measure and quote, and we don't sell it to anyone. The longer version follows.

What we collect

When you send the enquiry form, we receive what you entered: typically your name, phone number, suburb, the service you're asking about, and anything you write in the message box, plus your email address if you include it. If you arrived at the form from the tilt planner or another tool on this site, the message box may carry a summary of the choices you made there; it's visible to you in the form before you send it, and you can edit or delete it.

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure also records standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site working. We use it for spam prevention and diagnostics, not profiling.

What we use it for

  • Responding to your enquiry and arranging the free measure and quote you asked for.
  • Carrying out the work that follows, if you go ahead.
  • Filtering spam and abuse (the form includes automated checks for this purpose).

We may share your enquiry with a suitable local shutters and window-coverings provider so your request can be serviced, which is the point of sending it. We don't sell your details, publish them, or add you to marketing lists you didn't ask for. There's no newsletter here to be quietly signed up to.

Where it lives and how long

Enquiries are stored securely and retained while they're needed to handle your request and any work that follows. If you'd like your enquiry details removed, send a note through the enquiry form saying so, including the name and phone number you originally used so we can find the record, and we'll remove it.

Cookies and third parties

This site doesn't run advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts, and it doesn't knowingly set any cookies. Fonts and assets are served from the site itself. The enquiry form includes a simple, invisible spam check that never asks you to do anything and doesn't track you between visits.
