Plain-English terms for using this website. They exist so nobody is surprised later, which is the same reason we measure before we quote.
Guidance, not a quote
Everything on this site, the guides, the FAQ answers, the tilt planner and any figures or recommendations they produce, is general guidance to help you think about window coverings around Lake Macquarie: Belmont and the east, Toronto and the west, Charlestown and the hills, Morisset and the south. None of it is a quote, a survey of your home, or a promise that a particular product suits a particular window. Every recommendation we actually stand behind is made after an in-home measure, in writing.
No prices on this site
You won't find a dollar figure anywhere here, and that's deliberate. Every window is made to measure, so a price published before anyone has seen your windows would be a guess dressed up as a fact. Pricing arrives one way: a free in-home measure, then a written, itemised quote.
The tilt planner and tools
The Keep the View tilt planner on the homepage lets you drag a window and a tilt slider to see the light-and-privacy trade-off at different louvre angles. It simplifies real physics to give you a feel for the trade-offs, and it's honest about being an approximation: real rooms, real light and real openings vary, and the free in-home measure exists precisely because a slider isn't a tape measure.
Images
The imagery on this site is illustrative and AI-generated rather than photographs of specific local jobs. It exists to show the kind of work, rooms and lake conditions we describe, honestly rendered but not documentary. No image on this site should be read as a photograph of a particular customer's home unless a caption says so.

Guides link to outside sources (such as government design guidance and Australian standards) so you can check our claims. Those sites are their own publishers; a link is a citation, not an endorsement of everything they say.
Doing business
Quotes, any warranty terms, and the terms of any actual supply and installation work are provided in writing with the quote itself, specific to the job. If anything in a written quote conflicts with something on this website, the written quote wins.
